ACTIVATION WITH SMARTPHONE OR TAG NFC

DOM TAPKEY is the new electronic system totally integrated in the cylinder for the opening of locks by smartphone or tag; thanks to a refined and high quality mechanics combined with the most advanced and sophisticated electronics, today it is possible to combine high safety with practicality, flexibility and ease of use.

Born from the experience of DOM, it uses the NFC short distance technology to unlock the cylinder that guarantees the inviolability of the system in conjunction with the TapKey app available on Google Play without requiring internet connections, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and above all without the use of active or radiofrequency coding that can be captured and decrypted by malicious intent.

The system is totally 'stand-alone', so it does not require any electrical connection, wiring, keyboards or additional devices in order to simplify the installation as much as possible even on locks or pre-existing closing systems; the integrated battery has a very long life (3 years or 25000 cycles of opening) and can be easily replaced from the outside.

The opening can also be done by means of tags of reduced size to be inserted in a normal keychain without the need, therefore, of smartphones or electronic devices.

The TAPKEY app allows:

- Free use license for smartphone master that can allow the privileges of continuous opening or limited in time up to a virtually unlimited number of other users with smartphones to App

- Opening privilege granted to Google ID or TapKey ID with Mifare DESFire EV2 encryption: AES-128 Bit

- Unlocking the app on a smartphone with PIN, fingerprint or face recognition (in models equipped with the function)

- Possibility to program up to 12 tags

- Door opening without the need for an internet connection, Wifi, Bluetooth or radiofrequency radio controls

- The App works even in the absence of line and 3G-4G-LTE connection; access rights remain valid for up to 7 days in offline mode

- Use of DOM Tapkey Transponder
